This week’s biggest 10 and smallest 11 UK parkruns, as well as the 1 event which recorded a new attendance record:
Bushy Park (711), Southampton (574), Poole (534), Cardiff (534), Worcester (498), Coventry (474), Cannon Hill (474), Huddersfield (453), Heaton Park (433), Sheffield Hallam (423).
Margate (34), Larne (34), Gibside (32), Cranleigh (32), Lullingstone (28), Barclay (28), Hartlepool (27), Beckton (24), South Oxhey (20), Limavady (18), Aldenham (10).
Exeter Riverside (224).
Special mentions also go to Gainsborough, one of the smaller parkruns, but this week just outside the smallest 10, which recorded an attendance of 38, for the fourth week running (thanks to Andrew Chilcraft for bringing that to my attention), and also to Pymmes parkrun, which is also one of the smaller parkruns, which this week was abandoned after a tree fell in the park part way through the run, trapping a walker. The parkrunners assisted until the emergency services arrived. The man is said to be ‘doing well and seems not to be seriously injured’.
