UK Attendance Stats - 19th November 2016

Biggest parkruns: Bushy Park (990), Southampton (684), Poole (625), Cannon Hill (607), Coventry (586), Chelmsford Central (573), Cannock Chase (569), Bromley (559), Sheffield Hallam (544), Huddersfield (541).

Median parkrun: Kirkcaldy (161).

Smallest parkruns: Ellesmere Port (33), Stonehaven (29), Mount Edgcumbe (29), Pymmes (27), Gainsborough (27), Watergrove (26), Chadderton Hall (26), Bevendean Down (25), Dolgellau (16), Limavady (13).

New records / new parkruns: Cannock Chase (569), Gunnersbury (476), Beckenham Place (193), Llanelli Coast (191).

There were 406 parkruns, 24 cancellations, and the total UK senior parkrun population was 78462.

 This is the first time since I have been compiling the stats that an inaugural parkrun has made it into the top ten: Cannock Chase.

 A plethora of last-minute cancellations has affected the overall numbers. It’s that time of year I’m afraid.

 Of the parkruns that took place both last week and this week:

278 parkruns had higher attendance than last week,

119 parkruns had lower attendance than last week,

South Shields, Clair, Sheringham, Warrington, had precisely the same as last week,

The biggest increase in attendance (in terms of absolute numbers) was Bushy Park, with a change of 300,

The biggest increase in attendance (in terms of percentages) was Woodhouse Moor, with a change of 223%,

The biggest drop in attendance (in terms of absolute numbers) was Prudhoe Riverside, with a change of -138,

The biggest drop in attendance (in terms of percentages) was Limavady, with a change of -58%.
