UK parkrun Attendance Stats - 13th January 2018

Huge new UK record!

Put alongside record turnouts in four other parkrun countries (Australia, Germany, New Zealand and South Africa) there was also a new worldwide record which, when all the results are in, should be just shy of a quarter of a million parkrunners!

There were 488 parkruns, 9 cancellations, and the total UK 5K parkrun population was 132598, plus a pending result from Lower Drummans (the NI prison parkrun).

 

Of the parkruns that took place both last week and this week:

289 parkruns had higher attendance than last week,

155 parkruns had lower attendance than last week,

Black Combe, Sheffield Castle, Pymmes, Henley-on-Thames, Burnage, Blickling, had precisely the same as last week,

The biggest increase in attendance (in terms of absolute numbers) was Newcastle, with a change of 237,

The biggest increase in attendance (in terms of percentages) was Gibside, with a change of 90%,

The biggest drop in attendance (in terms of absolute numbers) was Hyde, with a change of -203,

The biggest drop in attendance (in terms of percentages) was Trelissick, with a change of -60%.
