In response to James White’s query on the With Me Now paid supporters group, as to whether the ‘got barcode’ and ‘became parkrunners’ figures (16,000 and 11,000 above) include juniors: the barcode number includes everyone, whereas the parkrunners number only includes 5k parkruns. Out of curiosity I calculated how many ran their first 2k junior parkrun this week to see whether that helped explain the gap. That figure was 753, so seems to explain a portion of the discrepancy.
